Meet The Staff

  • Kim Horvath
    Opthalmic Technician/Optician

    Kim is a native of West Rutland, Vermont. She started working with Dr. Wilson in 1986. In 1998 she became a licensed optician. Kim is a member of the Opticians Association of Vermont, and the American Board of Opticians. She now works as an ophthalmic technician and optician. She has two children and lives in Rutland with her husband.

  • Emily Tabor
    Optician

    Emily started working at Dr. Wilson's office in October of 2016 after she graduated with a bachelors degree in business from Castleton University. She is apprenticing as an optician and working towards her Vermont State Opticians License. Emily is originally from Proctor, Vermont, where she currently lives with her family.

  • Cheryl Audet
    Bookkeeper/Front Office Specialist

    Cheryl grew up in Fair Haven, Vermont. She has worked in the medical field for more than 20 years and in the eye care field since 1991. She started working with Dr. Wilson in 2003. Cheryl has two adult children and lives with her husband in Orwell, Vermont.

    Receptionist/Insurance Billing Rep.

    Bridgid has worked in the eye care field for 9 years. She started working with Dr. Wilson in 2013. Bridgid grew up in Rutland, Vermont and now lives in Rutland Town with her husband and daughter.

  • Sarah Salatino
    Receptionist

    Sarah started working for Dr. Wilson as an intern in 2014. She has continued to work part time with Dr. Wilson and his staff and has become a valuable member of our team. Sarah grew up in Proctor and graduated from Proctor High School. She graduated from Castleton University in May of 2016.

  • Erin Cournoyer
    "Future Optometrist"

    Erin in a junior at Castleton University majoring in biology, and plans to enter Optometry School in the fall of 2017. She is mentoring with Dr. Wilson and his staff to fulfill an entrance requirement of the MCPHS University School of Optometry in Worcester, Massachusetts. We introduce Erin along with our staff because she has quickly learned much about the eye and ophthalmic testing procedures, and is starting to have direct contact with patients by acting as an ophthalmic assistant. Erin is from Danby, and graduated from Burr and Burton Academy in Manchester. In addition to her scholastics, she is interested in athletics and is a member of the Castleton University field hockey team.
